Dance and Celts and Music and stuff....

So, I Tivo'd 'Superstars of Dance' a while back, but tonight was the first night I caught it. Not sure how many episodes I missed.... 1, 2, 3, 4? Anyway, it rocked!! I know many people aren't into reality shows, but this is 90% dance, 10% reality. I love that it's the dances of the cultures of Ireland, India, USA, Argentina, China, Russia, South Africa and Australia. Some traditional, and some just creative. But all awesome!!

I didn't realize until tonight that Michael Flatley was the primary host. LOVE HIM!! Sure, many years ago I thought he was an arrogant ass. But that didn't diminish his talent in my mind. I have watched Riverdance and Lord of the Dance probably 15 times each. I'm addicted to it. It almost makes me teary (in a good way) watching it because I would kill to see the show in Ireland. Not sure why, but I always found fascination with Scotland, Ireland and the Celtic culture. Whether it be the knot design work, the landscapes and sites, the people, dance or the music. I've been to England, Scotland and Wales, but never to Ireland, and that remains one of my top 2 places to visit (there and Egypt).

Well anyway, this all prompted me to put on my DVD of Lord of the Dance to cap off the night before heading to bed. I can watch it over and over again.as I love it so much.
