25 More Random Things

Since it seems to be the cool thing to do… Here is my 2nd list of 25 things about me.

1. I have a family of raccoons that live in my attic.
2. I subscribe to In Touch and Bon Appetite magazines.
3. I don’t cook. Just VERY basic stuff.
4. I have passed out once in my life and that was from heat stroke.
5. When I was about 7 or so, I got a blue BMX bike with blue tires that I loved. I haven’t owned a bike since.
6. I received a call from the cops a few summers ago asking me about some bones buried in the backyard of my Mom’s rental house I grew up in. The renters thought it may be a body. It was really just beef bones we fed our dogs when growing up. Lol
7. I own over 400 movies on DVD and VHS.
8. I have almost 150 magnets on my fridge from places I’ve traveled (near and far).
9. I live a block from the San Francisco Bay and I never walk down there to go look at the water.
10. A little over 10 years ago, I watched the top story of my Dads house burn down (which is the house I live next door to still). That was probably one of the scariest things I have ever been through.
11. I get migraines. Luckily not too often.
12. I have gotten to tour 2 aircraft carriers. The USS Enterprise a million years ago on a school trip. And the USS Nimitz back in high school because one of my closest friends was dating a Navy dude. And I live ½ a mile from the USS Hornet, but have yet to tour it.
13. I feel naked if I’m not wearing my watch.
14. I love the Numa Numa song. Which is actually called ‘Dragostea din tei’ by O-Zone if you didn’t know.
15. I collect traditional nutcrackers.
16. I carry my iPod and camera in my purse everywhere I go.
17. Growing up, I thought having a Toucan would have been the coolest pet ever.
18. I love staying at fancy hotel as much as dive hotels. And I love camping. I prefer that where I camp at least has a Port-A-Pottie. Other than that, rustic is all good. But growing up I camped in the middle of nowhere with no toilet, so I can do it.
19. I can be ready to walk out the door in the morning, 30 mins after I wake up. That includes taking my dog out, taking a shower, doing my make-up and getting dressed.
20. The most embarrassing concert I have been to was NKOTB, the first time around.
21. I hate wrapping gifts, so have a tendency to go the gift bag route a lot.
22. And old high school friend and I would speed down this one street where we lived while blasting ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by Queen while we were out driving. Not quite sure why.
23. My favorite car ever is the ’57 Corvette (red/white)
24. I have swam/snorkeled with sea lions. It was SOOO cool.
25. In the city I went to Middle School and High School in, it was pretty much common place that everyone learned how to drive in the local cemetery.
